Alan Thompson, a 1992 graduate of the university of Georgia, has been named Vice President of Ragan-Smith. He has 15 years of experience in land development consulting with specialized knowledge in landscape architecture including planning and zoning, landscape design and land planning of sites for land uses of commercial, retail, office, industrial, institutional, multi and single family development, zoning ordinance design and development. Alan received the Tennessee ASLA Chapter Merit Award for Dowell Springs, which was featured in the Landscape Architects Specifier News. He is a Registered Landscape Architect in Tennessee and Georgia.
