Joe Griffin has been a Vice President and Stockholder with Ragan-Smith since 1996 and has recently been named Senior Vice President. Joe joined the firm in 1987 as Manager of Transportation and Government projects. Prior to that Joe worked for the New York State DOT in the Planning and Development Division. Joe has 24 years of experience in the planning and design of major roadways and transportation facilities and in the transportation and traffic systems for residential and commercial private developments. Joe is the Principal Manager for Ragan-Smith’s Government and Municipal clientele having managed contracts for TDOT and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Joe also services Ragan-Smith’s private sector clients with planning and design of infrastructure improvements, including utilities, roads, intersections, and traffic signalization. Joe is the immediate past President of the Nashville Branch of the American Society of Civil Engineers. He is a Professional Engineer in the states of Tennessee, Kentucky, Georgia, Mississippi, and Alabama.
