Scott Niesen, a 1993 graduate from Clemson University, has recently been named Vice President of Ragan Smith. He has 14 years of experience in traffic and transportation engineering including managing and design in interstate roadways and interchanges, urban and rural surface roads, intersection improvement projects, and roundabouts. Scott has served on MDHA Steering Committees for redevelopment districts and streetscape plans, in addition to serving on ReDiscover East! Streetscape, Traffic and Parking Committee. He is active in numerous organizations including the American Society of Civil Engineers, Institute of Transportation Engineers, and the American Society of Highway Engineers. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the states of Tennessee, Kentucky, and Alabama.
