McKay’s Mill is a 540-acre development in Franklin, Tennessee consisting of single-family residential lots, condominiums, an assisted living center, a daycare center and various small commercial sites (cleaners/bank, etc.). The use of neotraditional elements, such as alleys, sidewalks, street trees, common green spaces and pedestrian scale amenities was a key feature of the design concept. Ragan-Smith was responsible for master planning, site engineering, landscape architecture and surveying services necessary for the development of the project.
