Three Phase I Environmental Site Assessments were performed on three parcels consisting of approximately 10-acres total. These parcels are to be developed as commercial property in Franklin, Williamson County, Tennessee. The ESAs were performed to identify "apparent" environmental conditions that may indicate an existing release, past release, or a material threat into structures, soils, groundwater, or surface waters. These Phase I ESAs allowed the client to satisfy requirements to qualify for the "innocent landowner" defense to CERCLA (Superfund) liability to develop the property for commercial use.
