A Phase II Environmental Site Assessment was performed on a 3-acre commercial property in Hermitage, Davidson County, TN. The soil and groundwater sampling plan was developed to obtain general information on surface conditions, near surface soil contamination, groundwater contamination, and physical signs of spills, leaks, and/or stains. This allowed the client to satisfy requirements to qualify for the innocent landowner defense to CERCLA (Superfund) liability also known as due diligence performed for a property in transition and to obtain a no further action letter from the TN Department of Environment and Conservation.
