Ragan-Smith prepared construction documents for this 191-acre site to create an eight field soccer complex for Metro Nashville Parks and Recreation. One of the fields was designed with subsurface drainage, lighting for night use, and planning for the addition of a future clubhouse and bleacher complex. A restroom building, roadway, two off-street parking areas, additional lighting and landscaping were also designed as part of the sports complex. This project required extensive coordination with the Nashville Metros, the architect, an electrical engineer, and a sports field consultant, as well as with the Metro Nashville Airport Authority, the latter due to the proximity to the Metro Nashville International Airport.
