Monthaven is a 62-acre mixed-use development located in Hendersonville, Tennessee at one of the gateways into the city. The development was planned around an historic home that was donated to the Cities Art Council as a permanent home within the office development of the master plan. Ragan-Smith prepared the master plan reflecting the development of office, retail, and multi-family uses, which are tied together by a street network containing strong streetscape elements in the form of sidewalks signage and street trees. As of this date, the multi-family and street infrastructure and development signage have been constructed to complete the first phase of development.
