Avalon is a 573-acre residential development with 446 proposed dwelling units in Franklin, Tennessee. These units range from neo-traditional style townhomes and cottage lots to upper-end conventional lots, and high-end estate lots. In order to protect the natural beauty of the land, 299-acres was dedicated as common open space. In addition to preserving this land, the development also offers an upscale landscape and amenity plan. This plan incorporates a lush streetscape design, ornamental lighting, a water feature and lake design, coordination of a bike trail with the city park department, and site signage design throughout the development.
