Ragan-Smith was selected by the City of Lebanon to provide comprehensive survey, design, and permitting services for the Maddox Simpson Parkway extension project. The new roadway crosses a section of Sinking Creek. In addition to design of a major culvert structure, Ragan-Smith was required to prepare a hydrologic and hydraulic study and permit application for a FEMA Letter of Map Revision (LOMR). Ragan-Smith also provided survey, roadway design, intersection design, signal warrant study and traffic signal design for the project. The project also included widening of portions of Old Murfreesboro Road, and an alignment study for the continuation of the project west to I-40.
