Ragan-Smith prepared a Route Survey along the Walton Ferry Road/Old Shackle Island corridor in Hendersonville, TN for TDOT. The survey included the intersection of this alignment with Gallatin Road, which is the main thoroughfare through the city. By using High Definition Surveying (HDS), all survey data was obtained without any lane closures and more importantly without any RSA employees having to be put at risk by working in this highly congested traffic area. Data was processed and imported into Mircrostation Geopak and then merged with conventional survey data to create a final product that met all the requirements of TDOT.
