This TDOT project included widening of I-65 from Harding Place to I-440, a new interchange at Harding Place, and widening of Harding Place to seven lanes from Franklin Road to Timberhill. The interchange design included double loop ramps, double CD roads, and enclosed drainage for both interchange and adjacent property stormwater. Ragan-Smith coordinated design of two major structures, one over I-65 and one over CSX Railroad, along with the design of several major wall systems. Ragan-Smith also was responsible for construction period services.
