Ragan-Smith was selected by TDOT to provide complete project management along with survey and design for this interchange improvement and interstate widening project. This is only the second time TDOT has relegated management and design responsibilities to a consultant. The project includes widening I-40 both eastbound and westbound and improving the ramps at Fesslers Lane. Two major bridge structures are to be widened and rehabilitated, and retaining walls will be required.
